SUPPORT OVER 200,000 POSTAL WORKERS πŸ“¬

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024 the American Postal Workers Union began negotiations with the United States Postal Service. APWU represents over 200,000 postal workers nationwide.

Postal workers are essential workers.

Whether it’s a birthday card for a loved one or life-saving medications, postal workers move millions of critical communications and parcels from one end of the country to another.

These workers are staples of our neighborhoods and are recognized throughout our communities. Their hard work, which connects so many of us, often goes unseen.

DAY OF ACTION: OCTOBER 1

The American Postal Workers Union has been negotiating a new contract since earlier this Summer, but APWU is still waiting on their demands for better staffing, better service, the right to public comments, and a good contract NOW. On Tuesday, October 1, postal workers are asking communities to join them for a day of action.
